I Can't Beleaf It's Autumn
Summer has sailed by and my final year of university is drawing near.Who am I kidding. There's no such thing as "Summer" in England.
Grey skies, rain, that awkward heatwave we experience now and then that makes you want to sit in a supermarket fridge. Summer isn't a thing.
Once in a blue moon the weather will stabilize and when the moon is blue, my dresses sing.
When I saw that the brand was based in France my mind automatically took me on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. From visiting Calais as a little girl with my mother and admiring how elegant they dressed (Of course my vocabulary wasn't as developed as it is now so I only really used the words "oui, prettttty!") to visiting Paris as a young adult and noticing that the style hadn't changed and croissants are still fascinating!
I made sure to leave an hour early just in case there was any traffic and excitedly waited for my Uber driver to arrive.
At this point I was considering legging it but it finally emerged from the horizon.
Like something out of a movie.
Or even better, the microwave.
I was the last to arrive at Brasserie Blanc (naturally) and was introduced to the collection, a glass of Chardonnay and some amazing bloggers.
As soon as I saw the monochrome I knew this would be a brand I'd gladly become accustomed with.
You know, the "in a room full of people you're the only one I see" type of feeling?
Then you leap across the dinner table and that's it?
Yes well that's exactly how I felt when I saw this wrap coat.
Beautifully presented.
Definitely going to recreate this bad boy.
Last on the list was the Chocolate soufflé with pistachio ice cream. Who can say no to chocolate?
And of course the only way to finish a three course meal was with some coffee. How else will you stop yourself from falling into a food coma?
The Balsamik collection has already launched and I can't wait to be reunited with my beloved.
Very elegant... both the lunch and Balsamik collection! The coat - who wouldn't want that? It looks so warm, and winter is coming.
